Our Wales Off-Road Adventure weekends take us into the heart of the Cambrian Mountains of mid-Wales. The area boasts some of the most dramatic and rugged wilderness areas the UK has to offer including dense forests, open moorland, lakes, river crossings and mountain tracks. Local wildlife is also an attraction with buzzards and red kite soaring above.
Readers can either use our 4x4s or your own (terrain available for all types). Either option will, of course, be inclusive of pre-departure off-road driving instruction, Lee James 4x4 guides/support vehicle and crew.
Schedule:
Fri pm: Guests arrive at Llanerchindda Farm, settle in and relax; meet your fellow drivers over a drink in the bar.
Sat 08:00: Breakfast (full Welsh recommended)
Sat 09:00: Instructional briefing and pre-departure vehicle checks.
Sat 10:00: Head for the hills! Full day out in the mountains (packed lunches available)
Sat evening: Return to the farm. In the evening you can visit local pubs and restaurants or relax by the fire after an evening meal at the farm.
Sun 08:00: Breakfast. We have several options on day 3, ranging from further open country areas to private land open to our groups. These offer a wide range of challenging or moderate off-road driving to suit your taste. Time can also be spent covering advanced techniques with instructors including wading, recovery and/or winching.

In addition to the Safari Weekend, we are offering you the chance to spend a little longer enjoying the beautiful countryside of Wales with our Midweek Adventure. Driving your 4x4 through the Welsh hills will taste all the sweeter as you imagine your friends stuck at work.

Off Road Fun Days

An Off Road Fun Day is a great way to learn the basic techniques of off-roading, before putting these techniques into practice when you are let loose on a purpose-built 4x4 course. The day will begin with one hour's tuition - the rest of the day is yours to play. |
